Is the engine likely to be OK still?
It's probably spent all of its time on the motorway so the engine is probably in superb condition.
As Fox has said before, mileage is nothing. Condition is more important.
Many of the people I work with (myself included now) do between 30 and 60k miles a year, so it doesn't necessarily have to be a taxi.

S-class' are excessively complicated though, the engines are the least of your worries. And tbh the MB diesels are far from the reliability of the bombproof petrol V8's.
EFA.
Seriously, fibre bus? What is this, a rocket ship?
Thats a lot of miles per day! (I've never worked it out before)
and yes.. the price is a tad optimistic
EDIT - Infact.. how much was it costing the owner in depreciation.. each mile?
Not bad for a car, I know of plenty of 06 plate trucks with a lot more than that on the clock.![]()
A top end car which can stretch as far as £160k new from the top end mass market manufacturer which has pioneered the latest technology in cars since they began production.
The whole comand system is linked with fibre optic's, fibre is cheaper, lighter, and faster than normal cabling i guess.
What's the depreciation like on those? I might be getting rid of the vRS soon.![]()
