Orionids meteor shower

Just thought I'd point out that there is a meteor shower that occurs around this time of year. Look about East-South-East, 15 degrees above the horizon.

Apparently now until 1am is a good time to see them. Should be between 10-20/hour

Thanks. I remember someone here posting a similar thread alst year, so I woke my son up during the middle of the night and we sat and watched the meteor shower. He thought it was cool, but the missus didn't appreciate it when we were both knackered the following morning.

Think I might go and wake him up again
