But, but, I dunno, games annoy me when I can't figure out what to do next, but when it is laid out so simply, It just seems too easy, But I know I would get annoyed if I turned it off only to turn it back on again every 5 minutes
 
can you turn back good again, had a few beers last night and started being a nasty bugger and now everyone is scared of my character. once your turned evil, are you evil for the rest of the game?

No but it's a lot harder to be good than evil.
 
I pre-ordered FarCry2 but was very tempted by Fable2.

I never played any of the original Fables so dont really know what to expect.

Are we talking free roaming RPG. Is there a multiplayer element or is it all single player.

For anyone that received their pre-order already whats it like?

Speaking of which...can anyone tell me what the character "setup"/creation is like? Can you customise your character much? Or are there just a few presets to choose?

(I'd hoped to recieve an e-mail today saying I could pick up my pre-order but nothing, curses!)
 
You chose either a boy or a girl and you cannot change the appearence. The 'customization' is if you do good or evil deeds which change the appearence of your character. You can also get various garments.

But on the "launch trailer" it flicked through like 5 or 6 quite different looking characters including a pirate and some pirate wench, so were they just other characters or did they end up like that because they took to the high seas or something. :p

I never played the original so I wouldn't know but the voice acting is ok IMO. Its slightly delayed between different people speaking but I'm not really concerned by it.

If you act bad then your character looks more twisted and sinister, whereas if you are good then you become beautiful and elegant. You can get fat by drinking lots of beer and eating 'bad' foods and get thin by eating fruit and such like. You can get variouis outfits such as pirate or ninja clothes etc etc.

That may have been for co-op so your mate (who doesn't have their own Fable 2 character) can quickly jump into the game by choosing one of the pre-sets.
 
Dammit...I have a collectors edition and a regular edition sitting on my desk at home.
Looks like one order site failed to cancel my pre order for the standard edition :mad:
