Eggy bread? Pfft, French Toast!

French toast is rather good.

The only issue I have is that I can only make one slice at a time, so whilst I am cooking another, the first goes cold.

So to solve this I eat whilst cooking the other slice, repeating several times!

I only had some pretty crap looking seedy bread, whats the point in frying something healthy. id need thick white bread to do it properly

Instead i just had 2 toasted bagels, beans and 2 fried eggs.

top meal for only a few mins effort!

A thickly cut slice of homemade bread, soaked in two whisked eggs, fried in a non-stick pan, no oil, then served with maple syrup, epic.

Dip the rounds then cut them in half, you can fit about 4 rounds into a large frying pan!

I am the master of french toast!

Oh and use Brennans Bread if you can get it!

Make as described above and then turn into a sandwich with melted cheese and bacon. Tastes absolutely amazing but only have it rarely as it cant be good for you!!

I was under the impression that eggy bread and french toast were different.

Eggy bread being eggs, dash of milk, salt, peper soaked bread fried, French Toast similar, but sweet rather than savoury ?
