Loving the Steelbook case that came with the game. Very slick :) Stuff like this should encourage people to buy games rather than pirate them.
 
I'd really like to know who leaves single diamonds in huge cases lying around Africa.

Didn't the dev team visit Africa? I'm pretty sure that doesn't happen there.
 
This is really starting to grow on me, couple of hours in and just driving around offroad is great fun :) Not to mention the awesome explosions and fiery goodness! Not quite sure where the main story went, I just seem to be doing the weapon shop side missions at the moment.

Same thing happened with Flatout UC, ended up going to those sites to get a fix.

Thats intentional those fools @ ubi decided to include a disc check as well as the online activation:eek:

Same as me, got over my original concerns. Managed to do that mission too, turns out I was blowing the wrong stuff up! Really hope they go through with the patch that adds Lions and stuff, would make everything a whole lot more dangerous.
 
My only complaint so far is the guard checkpoints being replenished so quickly, would be nice to have a bit more freedom to just drive around without getting my bum shot at.
 
Just been messing around with the editor, pretty slick. We won't be seeing any maps with the complexity of source custom maps but it's a nice little sandbox to have a play around with.

well, runs ok on my rig, got the hotfix after getting road signs as textures, it still runs in a window?? and im getting the odd CTD.

But.. Its not bad so far.
 
If that doesn't work have a look in:

Dunno WTF people are moaning about. The day/night cycle is amazing. The sun rays are gob smackingly beautiful. The AI is amazing. Never forget driving along a railway track only for 2 zebras 2 appear from the right and one gets run over. :(

Seriously I have had so much fun and only played for couple hours. Fire is pretty cool too the way it spreads and blows stuff up. :D

Jaw still drops when I rest and the day turns into night or even better night into day.

The buddies are cool too. Oh no im dead - no im not a cool chick just saved me and is giving me backup!! :D
