DreamScene & Overclocking

Hey all,

I'm perplexed; Why does DreamScene lock my graphic card's clocks?

When DreamScene is enabled my 4850 constantly runs at 625/993, regardless of 2D or 3D, in contrast with DreamScene being disabled, then it runs at 500/933 when 2D, and 670/1100 when 3D.

Any fix, or, as expected, I must disable DreamScene in order to overclock my card?

Cheers! :D

Dreamscene is the only thing on my Vista 64 setup that has caused crashes and lockups.

Every time I enabled Dreamscene it would result in some sort of system hard lock which could only be sorted by resetting.

Other than that never had a single problem.

I've been using it for months, and it honestly hasn't once caused my PC to crash, or my graphic driver.

To be frank, I wrote "as expected" since I knew the easy way would just be disabling it.
I'll wait for further replies, maybe others will have a better solution.
