Asus P5K-E Wifi gone bad?

To be honest I'm not really sure if its my mobo thats causing my pc to bsod or my memory. I've been getting random bsod's during the last few weeks and I initially thought it was my crucial ballistix since a pair of them failed on me a few months ago. So I tested them one by one and found the faulty stick. I rma'd them back to crucial and got a new pair the other day. Now I have 4 sticks back in and I'm still getting bsod's.
When the pc restarts it says something like Overclocking failed blah blah(I'm running everything at stock speeds and memory voltage is set at 2.1v. Other times when it restarts it keeps going on forever looking for cd-rom drive and floppy drive which always ends up with neither being found.

Now I don't think its the memory again since both pairs are practically brand new, can it be that my mobo has gone bad and is damaging the memory sticks? Or could it just be that my mobo is borked and thats why my brand new memory fails memtest?

Thanks

After further research and testing I'm pretty sure its the mobo.
System works fine with 2 sticks of ram in slots A1 and A2, obviously ram is running in single channel mode.
I have switched around all 4 sticks of ram and they all work fine but my system randomly crashes and bsod's when I place the ram into slots A1 and B1 or A2 and B2.
So I have given up on this motherboard and I'm looking for a replacement.
I have the chance of picking up an Asus Maximus II Formula at a local shop(Dublin) otherwise I'll have to order from the UK.
Do you think the Maximus II will be a good replacement board?

Thanks

I've had this on a couple of Asus boards that I've had. Going into the BIOS and just pressing F10 without actually changing anything sorts it out. This is also with it running at stock speeds. Actually I think that the P5K-E that I have now has done it once too.

If you're suffering from other problems with the DVD not detected etc then it sounds like a new mobo is probabbly needed, unless it's still under warranty and can be repaired.

It looks like the problem is the dimm slots so I will need a replacement board.

Should I go for the Asus Maximus II Formula or the P5Q boards?

Thanks
