Unbelievable Sky Call (Installations)

I rang sky today to change the install date of sky hd.

Got through to an advisor and was asked for my password. i cant remember it at all and he said sorry i cant help you then.

I said i could tell him how long ive had sky, how i pay for it and what bank account it comes out of etc.

To which he said "Sorry but if you cant tell me the password i need to hang up on you"

WTF is this supposed customer service!!! How the hell am i meant to sort out my account!! :mad::mad::mad:

The guy was being an idiot or more than lickly not trained right.

Quick word of warning though - if you change your date your quite possibly looking at the end of November.
 
Earliest i can get in at moment is 8th december.

I have since rang back and spoke to a much better person this time, and a complaint letter is on its way to sky about the conduct of the previous advisor

IMO be a waste of your time bud. Send a quick email if anything.

Can manage to beat that. Upgraded from sky+ to hd on Thursday. Engineer fitted the new box, tested it all and it worked. Went to record a program last night and found we couldn't. After being on the phone for 15 minutes it turns out that they switched off the sky+ part of our subscription. We still get all the channels, but no features at all. It's going to take them 24-48 hours to sort out apparently :rolleyes:
