Would these sort of specs be able to play games at high settings on a 19 inch monitor?, i'm guessing yes, but my knowledge of components is limited at best.

Swap the AMD CPU and motherboard for Intel.

Something like an Intel E7200 CPU & Asus P5Q P45 mothboard would be much better.

Also, if possible, bump the 4850 up to a 4870 (a better fit for the Samsung 22" screen) and change the 500GB HDD to a (faster) Western Digital 640GB.
 
Asus P5Q P45 around £65 and intel e7200 £80 just got one today for that price. i had a amd 6000 price £64 the chip uses 125w :eek: cant have that.
was going to buy gigabyte hdmi motherboard, but the power consumption of the amd chip was too much.

1st time in my life i have an intel chip, still havent opened the box just have it on my desk.
