It depends.

Would a reasonable dentist have been able to save your tooth? If so, and you can show this by the opinion of another dentist, then you could sue for profession / medical negligence.

You need to get out more, you're obsessing over something completely tiny and meaningless.
Its not affecting your quality of life, and if it is you need councilling.
Donate the money you would have spent for it to be saved to charity to be honest, get some perspective.
Midlife crisis anyone?

Do not start suggesting buying Japanese products as they do not require the same health and safety checks our products do. There is a reason such products are not available in global markets demand aside.

i would have paid for a repair at least even if it failed, i would have done everything possible to save it.

why?

It's a molar, unless you go round with your gob hanging open not many people are going to see it.

Had my wisdom tooth on the same side extracted and frozen, for £900 just incase stem cell tooth regeneration hits the market later on in my life.

Ok yeah, I'm going with troll here...

Surely you only had it removed because of over crowding?

I have to laugh at these replies. All of this whinging, when the answer to his question was 'yes', if the criteria fits the bill.

I hasten to add it probably isn't worth the time, expense or effort.

Nanoparticle toothpastes are just a normal toothpaste which polishes the tooth a little better, nothing at all to do with 'healing' cavities in teeth. it is totally a preventitive thing. Maybe do your research a little bit better before spouting rubbish on a forum.

What your dentist did was reasonable. Whatever the case a tooth can probably always be saved but this could involve taking bone grafts and soft tissue grafts etc etc. but does that really sound a sensible thing just to save a tooth??

get a grip of yourself, and stop eating sweets.

On a seperate note though, you should've been allowed to keep the extracted tooth.

being clinically tested in the states as we speak, no clinical trials in the uk.

This is a joke isn't it. I mean you lost a tooth! ...Not an eye, not a lung, not a kidney not even a nacker. Seriously if that is the worst thing you have to worry about then you have it pretty damn easy. Now stop whinging and GET OVER IT!

Nope had it removed, incase of stem cell regrowth, plus having a gap, would mean food getting stuck possible giving me more problems.

i would have gone with that, paid the money for it, it depends on how you value your tooth.

Now i only drink water and milk nothing else, stopped eating processed foods.
if iam going out and do drink sprits, i'll be using a straw.

When i do things i'll look at every possible avenue, exhaust all possiblities but until then i'll try. ,

you are a little bit over the top aren't you. I think you need to reassess your view on teeth.yes no one likes to lose them but it was a back tooth, chill out.like you said you can get an implant placed. If you do get an implant though just bear in mind that you could end up with a permanently numb lip (can of worms......open)
