What do you do when you get bored driving?

yeah some chav got 3 points for splashing some workmen trying to fix a burst pipe .

I reported 2 builders in a van that socked this poor old guy with a walking stick then laughed there heads off ,the cops did not want to now :rolleyes:

I did catch up with the van and gave them some abuse ,complete A- holes .

No matter what car you drive... there are always going to be times you get bored. Normally because the road you are on does not allow you to enjoy your car (traffic, speed cameras, weather, etc etc etc)

Not so much for me, not because my cars have been interesting (they haven't) but because I love being behind the wheel...and it's going to be so nice going back to driving after my year's break.

I dont seem to get bored driving, i just completely and utterly switch off and waft with quiet music. Did 530 miles with just a fuel stop on Saturday, really didn't notice it at all.

I normally plan my long journeys so that ive got plenty of extra time... I hate being late, so when i find myself getting bored on a motorway i just pull off (not masterbate) and use A and B roads for a while, me Sat Nav always gets me back on track after a while, you get to see some great scenary and these roads are normally much more fun than motorways... Nothing beats the fun of hooning along an unknown B-road bouncing off the rev-limiter tbh.

I don't really travel far enough to get bored but when I do go further than the 7 miles to work I still don't get bored I love driving, crank some decent tunes up or just listen to the engine on the redline

I find things to do, I usually try and interact with other drivers by whatever means neccassary. Crank the music up and start headbanging to either something stupid (karma kameleon is a favourite) to see what happens, or something heavy to get a disapproving look from some boring half dead office worker.

Or attract attention and make innapropriate signals to inappropriate people, get a granny at the lights do the phone thing "call me"

Or smoke, drink a can of fizzy pop (theres always a few cans of pop in my car) and enjoy it.

I don't get bored driving that often, i pretty much alway always enjoy it, even if i'm going on a long drive i'll get involved and see how fast I can do it in.
