FIFA 2009 Recruiting...My Club team

Guys, I want to get into the Club mode of things, so I want to setup a team with subs/reserves with 10 of the best players on OCUK.

Basically register your interest on here and we'll setup a game, I will then watch over the game and see how people play, I will then pick the deciding 10.

I'll be looking out for:

- FIFA gameplay (being able to play the game)
- Footballing brain (being able to pick the right ball etc)
- Communication
- Able to sit in your position
- Willing to play the "poorer" positions in defence etc

When we then have the team together its's time to take on the world, the chances of the final 10 being online at the same time is remote so subs/reserves will always be playing, I'll alternate things also depending on form.

Could be a tough job but I can do it, and I think we have enough decent players to do a good job.

I know the majority of players on here anyway and their skill level which is a big help.

The games will be played after 6pm on weekdays, I'm usually free most weekends.

Don't register interest if you can't do these times, most people work or go to college during the day so this is why I'm choosing this time slot.

If you do nothing during the day and work nights or whatever, I'm afraid this isn't for you.

I'll be interested as long as it doesn't die on its behind like the original club we had going. I haven't seen anyone in the dressing room for ages.

:D True enough.

One problem is you can only be part of 1 club at a time and I'm not sure how you quit from a club to join another. I think most people on here joined the original club, it is something you might want to check out.

I'm gonna play around with it tonight now that Sarah has got the game also.

If thats the case then I urge you leave that team :)
 
seeing as ocuk club is dead now, i'd be interested in joining. But my net activation has been delayed till next week :mad:

That's a bit bad as far as the league goes mate!

I'll leave it with Anders0n for what he wants to do regarding that in the other thread though!

I'd be interested in joining, however I know from our games together on clubs that people rarely picked the right pass even though I kept shouting for everyone to make simple passes to people in space, it was kind of frustrating, which was made worse when the opposing team did exactly that and ripped us to peices.

Football is a simple game made difficult by making bad choices...........or trying the impossible.

As I said I'll give it a go as I'm on most evenings but I'll see how we do. I'm not the best Fifa player but I know a lot about football having played it for over 20 years, some of it at a fairly high level.

Well that's where communication comes into it, the more you play with people the better you'll get it but it will never be as easy as playing "single" player against someone as it's impossible to read what your team mate will do.

But it's the same with the opposition too.
