Im sure in FIFA 09, offline, you can go back to the start of a game from instant replay ? If this was the case online, then after a match, maybe they could let us navigate to any point in the replay, cut it and save that online? That would be one of the only way I could see it being implemented, that or like PES, they show you all the key highlights and once the game is finished (so the other player could have left) you can just press a button while that highlight is on to save it
I think its just to give a bit of variety between leagues
Just accused of cheating because I used to right stick to run. 
Too many quitters is this game also, took me 7 games to find someone who stayed for the full 90. One of them was fair enough, some lad and his mate were 4-0 down in 18 minutes, owned.

It's as simple as that, the manual shows you the things you can do, then just master them!
I'd try play people rather than the AI, that's my tip.
People on here will give you friendlies and you'll learn as you go a long. No one can go from PES to FIFA and be good, it takes time to master the game so have patience

I love the abuse, I came back on my 360 yesterday to find a message "how the **** did you win that you ****"

It's quite common for us all to be stung by the lobbed through ball, try defending deeper, you'd have to change your tactics a bit to suit this style like.
Just don't slide into tackles, stand off and shoulder barge, even when they are clean through if you can get a defender to put them under pressure they'll no doubt miss.
If your strugglign to create chances, try through balls too, try and be a team qith quick attackers whilst your new.
He quit when I scored pretty much in the first minute, kept calling me a noob and a cheater so then he invites me to a rematch, I'm 3-0 up inside 25 minutes, every time running down the line going sssshhhhh, so so sweet!
Thats where practise will help, through balls are easy to perform but getting the correct power on no one can really tell you how.
Defenders always seem to have the upper hand as far as strength goes, you've got to be unpredictable to try get past them, shoulder to shoulder they'll win.

Hold the "Apply pressure button" which for me is X (on the new control layout on 360), and your nearest AI controlled player will close them down.
