Call Of Duty: WAW Beta preload!

well its not like OMG COD4 is t3h best game.

It's alright

I can see where they are coming from

This is only a beta and as its good i will deffently buy the whole game :)

Dogs are fun to watch,

Easy to rank up like COD4

Tanks are funny cos everyone is paniking and don't know what to do hahahaha

good laugh :)

i duno if it will live up to COD4 though

Amusing theyre intent on calling this a beta, nothing more than a mp demo. Im assuming you can unlock the proper weapons for each side as you gain rank, till then it seems the germans russians and japanese have to be content with the springfield 03 as their sniper rifle and the tommygun as their smg. Talk about a cheesy way of increasing the amount of unlocks..

I dont see what all the fuss is about.

I loved COD4.

COD5 is COD4 but with WW2 weapons and maps, and tanks. It will therefore be atleast as good as COD4. If the SP is half as good It will be worth every penny!
 
Arghh! I had a key from my confirmation email before, but now when I go check, there is none at the top of the profile page and none in my email:(:(:(
 
After playing it for several hours im currently not a fan and still prefer cod4 , cod 5 feels very sluggish in movement. Although I will give it more time to see if it improves and take in to consideration its still a beta.
 
Still has the same dodgy tdm spawns from the original cod on the pc. Nothing better than shooting someone and having the same guy stabbing you from behind 5 seconds later. :rolleyes:
 
*sigh* i can honestly say im rubbish at this game, 5 kills 22 deaths, for some reason ppl were able to kill me with 2 body shots and i emptied a full clip into them to do no dmg
 
I was seriously hyped about this, I couldn't wait to get back to some good old bolt action rifle battles. It's a shame that the guns feel like toys, they are so unbalanced. I know they said they are looking into the bolt rifles, but as it is they seem so underpowered, Thompson wins 9/10 times. The movement feel sluggish in comparison to CoD4, and tanks are not fun to drive nor to take out, pointless.

Hardcore mode is broken too.

I've only played an hour, had to have a quick game of CoD4 before I hit the sack. I'll play some more tomorrow, I think it could grow on me. However, I went into this thinking it would be CoD4 with lovely old school guns and settings, it really isn't and has somewhat spoiled it for me.

I will probably still pick this up, but I doubt it will be day one any more.

Might make a vid tomorrow.

I dont know a great deal about WW2 weaponry, but i think some of the weapons have the wrong stats. If i remember right the thompson uses .45 rounds where as the mp40 uses 9mm, so the mp40 should do less damage yet ingame it does more. That isnt right is it? My only other problem is that it does seem odd watching japanese soldiers using an m1 garand, or a bren gun with a bayonet.

Other then that i think its a fantastic game, it wasnt intended to be ground breaking or next gen so i think its good overall. Personaly even with some of the ballance issues in MP, i mainly buy CoD games for the singleplayer.

It is utter tripe. Played for 20 mins, keifers voice is annoyign after 5 mins, dogs are the new helis and last too long. The guns sound like fire crackers. The gfx are okay i will give them that. It just feels old and it is boring and clunky.

o well.
