I have no idea about mixing.

But, I'm pretty sure that;

Without music/with voice = Acapella
Without voice/with music = Instrumental

You could do this using traktor but it would be difficult as the acapella will have no beat to work with...I have decks and have been mixing for years with vinyl, I have done this myself with real records and it can still be tricky to keep it in time. I've tried a few of these virtual DJ programs and thought they were really difficult to use unless you had two tunes with a bog standard 4/4 beat.

Really what your taking about doing is probably a "Mashup" and for that I would invest in the greatest music software ever created....Ableton Live

http://www.ableton.com/

Ableton allows you to timeshift any part of your acapella to fit your beat exactly as required, there isn't anything else as easy and as powerfull out there to do the job.

Ableton has a huge following and there are loads of tutorials on YouTube.

Yep, to do what you want, a sequencer would be best.

Ableton might be a bit overkill, but it is an amazing piece of software :)

Yep it's total overkill functionally, but you could actually complete the task faster than any other method by using it.

Another option is Sony's Acid Pro, which is similar to Ableton but not as good.

CHeck youtube. There is a guy on there that has loads of tutorials from setting up the kit to three deck mixing etc. Can't remember his name but would be great to see for starting out. There's a few traktor tutorials as well.
I use Traktor as well as cd and vinyl. Traktor is great for putting stuff together but you'll not learn much about beatmatching as traktor does most of it for you.

I'm by no means an expert but i would be happy to talk you through the basics, which should be enough for what you're looking to do. My msn is in my trust if you are interested :)

Ableton has tutorials built into it I think, when you first open it the tutorials are shown on the right.

I recommend ableton to everyone, its bloody brilliant. Would be quite easy to knock up what you want in it after a few online tutorials and warping.
