BBC Issue apology over Ross/Brand 'Prank'

I heard on the radio this morning that Max Clifford is now the granddaughter's PR agent. Looks like the same old parasites are wading in to make a big buck out of another over reported story.

Apparently, they have now been suspended. Utterly ridiculous.

What a total non issue, dont worry about the economy, somebody made a prank phone call !!11

Most of the people saying they should be sacked etc are people that don't actually like them at all regardless of what they've done. If the BBC were to sack Ross he'd just go and get paid more elsewhere whilst the BBC would be left with what... nothing. Same with Brand. Its so embarrassing for this country that this issue is STILL in the news. Didn't the incident occur last week? Yet only now its being made an issue. Dear me.

When the public fund the BBC and have no option but to fund it. The last thing they want to hear is a bbc broadcast, in which two presenters **** of a old man about shagging his granddauther. Very one is replaceable, Ross I never lisen to or watch on TV/Radio. I wouldn't even notice if he got sacked as for the other one I didn't even know who he was till this.
 
People really need to just forget about this.... Every day in the paper there is some thing more to the story and it is just getting old.

Why the **** is gordon brown getting involved.... surely he has more on his plate? The media needs to get over them selves and pipe down, accoring to the papers Sach's has accepted their appology and the media is now trying to make it out worse than it is, and finally, the grandaughter works for a company called Satanic *****.... and was "highly upset" (and wants to go to the police) that Brand said he slept with her??? wtf ***** needs to get over herself.

Exactly.

The girl makes money, more exposure for Ross and Brand, any publicity is good publicity. Everyone's a winner. Another reason i don't buy newspapers.
 
they should have sacked straight away - they would have if it was anybody else, in the same way that anybody doing this in a job would be sacked immediately.

for me there are no limits to humour and there should be no censorship - but this was directed at a specific person and was abuse, plain and simple. this is a 78 year old granddad for gods sake - i'm not surprised its getting the media coverage it is.

that is ******, why not suspend all comedians that have a pop at other celebs???

I am not a big fan of either but if your going to do this now then they will have to remove other people from air that have a pop at say... britney, cancer patients, those with aids etc......
 
So they've both been suspended now. Does this just apply to radio or do we reckon we'll still see Ross on Friday night?
