Is the P182 Special Edition vulgar? /case + foam spec.

Now, this case stands out, whether it is pretty or not the mirror finish of the stainless steel is very eye catching. That's the obvious out of the way. The question still remains whether it is vulgar/ugly/sick worthy? I can't decide, and without seeing it in real life at my desk I am not sure I could? While the standard one that OcUK stock is the exact same layout, I feel it is missing something that the SE fills in? Am I alone here, have I completely lost everyone?

If that is the case I will make a quick divert to what is the quietest case on the market that only uses 120mm fans, has minimal venting on the panels and roof? Also what acoustic foam is recommended for padding out any vents and panels? I prefer larger cases that have the PSU at the bottom. Apparently steel is the best material for keeping in the sound and I don't mind the weight of the case. Not like I am going to be moving it anywhere.

I think the standard version looks a lot classier. The whole visual appeal of the P182 is the understated design!

I have the P182SE, and I think it looks ace. The insides are much much nicer than the P182 due to the powder coating (though you could do that yourself if you have time/money) and the outside is very cool imo. The mirror finish has a way of making the case seem a lot smaller than it actually is, which I like.

Don't worry, i've taken the stickers off the monitor, thats an oldish picture of when it was a new monitor. And it was just a reflection! It's like a mirror if you see it for real. There are no stickers on the case, that would just ruin the looks imo.

Good luck finding one of these things now though, I got one of the last ones on sale in the UK as far as I know, as I could only find em in one place. Second hand you have a chance, but not many people will want to part with it unless its scratched, they're damn good cases.

I am aware that there are no new ones in this country and have created a thread in the Wanted section last week.

I might crack and end up buying a P182 early from OcUK though... Over half way there through earning it in overtime tonight.
