I take it you've never been to many comedy clubs.
It's not that I don't get it. I simply don't care that they broke some rule. I'm sure it gets breached every day. Big deal.

Its a Big Deal to 18,000 people who complaining hence the investigation.
I thought they only got 2 complaints over the broadcast (out of 400k listeners). The other complaints I believe were at least a week after the broadcast when everyone jumped on the bandwagon of mass hysteria.
Sachs agreed to be on Brand's show. Maybe he should have answered the phone as arranged!
Yes that's exactly what happened, there were 2 people who complained. The other 17,998 people only heard about it in the Sunday Mail and other sensationalist articles in other media over a week later.

18,000 people did not complain about about the breach of a telephone usage law.
People are getting hysterical over two mid range comedians getting suspended.
Yes but were not talking about joe public1 doing this to joe public2 in isolation and it going unnoticed, were talking about two very well known people doing this in a high profile scenario whilst working for the BBC
A similar analogy would be you sending a rude joke or picture of a hot chick to a mate using hotmail account, if you sent the same email from a works email address to another member of staff then you have to accept you could get sacked for misuse, youd have to take the responsibility for making that choice, its the same with Brand and Ross
They "done" wrong, license payers have a right to complain don't they.
