k850i problems

I have a k850i and the screen randomly turns off, and I have to wait for the key light timer (you know the keys stay lit for 20secs or so) to go off before I can press another button and get the screen on again.
Also it won't save camera pictures.
It isn't brand new and has not been dropped or got wet or anything.

Is this a firmware/software issue or is it just fubared?

Yes/Yes and Yes. They all do it, I don't know of anyone that hasn't had problems with the K850i sooner or later.

The Camera pictures thing isn't normal though, all the ones I had were fine with the camera. It was just the random hissy fits it had all the time that caused the problems.

Any idea if a firmware update would fix it?? I would have to buy a new usb cable if so

I had a k800i before this that crashed a lot. They are usually good phones spec wise, but the software is terrible!
