Spec a £20 contract with free phone!

My friend at uni wants to move off pay as you go and onto a contract and i'd like you guys to help with speccing her a new contract and phone.

The details:

Pref O2 or Orange (others have poor reception in durham)
Max £20pm
Uses texts more than calls
No more than 18months
Free Phone
Spec of phone not important, she is a girl so (i quote) has to look "pretty"
Decent cam (i.e 3.2mp +)

The best i found when looking for her was:

Orange Dolphin 25 (online hence 20pm):
200mins
Unlimited texts
Free Samsung Soul (got an "ooo" response )

I know you said orange or o2 & £20/month but t-mobile are doing the flext35(normally £35/month) at £25/month, if you do a street check during the checkout process online you get a 14day network gurantee where you can return the phone and cancle the contract if unhappy with the coverage. the phones available on that deal are lg viewty, nokia 6650, samsung u800 and sony ericsson w890i. from what I've read its been extended till january.
you can get that deal instore, online, or over the phone tho you loose the 7day return if you don't like the phone tho according to one of the staff you still have the 14day network gurantee.

The contracts from 3 seem pretty good value. I just got myself a Skypephone with 300 mins/300texts and unlimited data for 20/month, and the contract is only 6 months.

There are lots of other phones you can pick though if you don't want Skype.

Get a pay as you go phone and then get o2 simplicity, works out the same costs as an 18 month contract (if not less), but you get more mins and one month contract.... so its win win.

I get 600 xmins - 500 texts and unlimited allowances which include choice of unlimited o2 to o2 calls, land line calls, GPRS, wifi, text extra...

£20 p/m

There are some decent phones going cheep on PAYG at the moment.... Sony K800 for £59
