Just recieved my xbox 360 elite and fable today, quick question though theres a chest that i cant open, says i should access the fable 2 website, whats that all about?

Links to your gamertag I think. You play some crappy flash games and it saves your profile so the chest contains some stuff? Also I think the DLC cards you get from Limited Edition are entered in a website and appear in that chest.

What are you supposed to do if you move your family into a different home, my old house seems to be stuck as a family one now is there no way to start renting it out?

How quiet is the Elite? I'm probably going to buy a PS3 (am living at home at the moment so am using my brother's 360, but when I move out will want a console) for the main reason that I can't stand the 360's noise and heat, but if the Elite is anywhere near as quiet as a PS3 it will certainly make my options more tricky!

Sadly the Elite is the same hardware as the Arcade and Pro versions (bar colour and accessories). You may get a quieter one, but paying more for an elite is not the way to get one. Pot Luck is the normal method. You know the machine will be quieter with the NXE that lets you copy games to HDD and only uses disc in the drive to validate ownership? Even then the Dashboard fans are still louder than any PS3 I have heard, but the main noise, disc drive, will be minimised.

I bought an Elite last week and it's quieter than the launch day pro it's replaced.

Also not all PS3's are all that quiet either...

If you play the Fable flash game on their website you can win items. Those items show up in that chest that tells you to visit their site.

Is it my console or does the disc spin like mad. The game has also froze up on me a few times

my fable disc is noisy too. I've resorted to using in ear headphones. Seems to just be making inconsistent noises all the time

Yep the disk drive is quite load, even louder than my pc, which has 4 fans on full.

Got annoyed with the blacksmith took me 4 ingame days to complete the last star, just kept missing it when it was on the left hand side, so rarely got passed x3

well, i finished the main storyline last night and feel a bit cheated. At no point during the game did i actually feel that it was a challenge. You could spam the same moves all the way through and not really have to think about anything. If you got overwhelmed by enemies then all you had to do was suck up the experience and wait to get 'knocked out' and hey presto, you wake up 2 seconds later with no penalty!

Overall, it seems to me they spent so long building the dialog and moral system they forgot about any form decent length story line.

My disk spins like crazy also, But I dont getting any freeze ups.

I own a Falcon Elite and can confirm that I will be installing Fable 2 to the hard drive ASAP.......roll on Dash board update
Crazy read write speeds going on....a bit of a distraction to be honest

When can you be sure you're ready to go on the boat? I still have 6 quests but I can't be sure I'm done with them all as new ones keep popping up, i.e. the slaves one.

They will just keep popping up anyway I think I wouldn't worry about random ones like that.

I saved at the same spot last night. I've been going off and doing them quests, the slave one is really easy to.

How far in the game are we? (Just before the boat after crucible)
