Jeeez that is a little extreme by EA's standards, kinda sucks the fun out of online gaming and discussion (taking place on their servers at least).

Way to alienate yourself from the market there EA, good game, well played.

That is off the top of ma head. These are all very good in there own way and all big sellers.:)
 
What people seem to forget is that it's smaller departments within EA that produce all of their games. These management issues are made by a completely different department without any influence from the actual game developers which is why i love Redwood Shores for developing Dead Space, but hate EA for the DRM.
 
And they published a loss of $33Mn in the third quarter.

Yet they still survive. I hope someone buys them out. And destroys them.
 
Just because they have the odd good game doesn't mean you have to support everything they do. This is taking the biscuit. I'm sure they cannot ban you from playing every game for one silly comment on a forum.

I'm pretty sure it wasnt included in the EULA of the games out currently. So even if they do put it in the EULA of new EA games they cannot change the terms and conditions of the games you already own without your consent as you have already agreed to it.

I think you would have a good chance at taking them to court if this did happen to you in. Also that post saying this sounds so un-professional its unbelievable. I'm sure that statement would go down well in a court :D

I dont hate EA but this is a stupid move.

Red alert 3 is disappointing, nowhere near as good as RA2 or 1... ( may change my mind still tho as only played a quick skirmish.)
Fifa games are footy games and therefore rubbish :p. ( nope haven't tried em, haven't played footy games since pro evo 05)
Crysis is underwhelming, buy enjoyable. Only an avg. game imo.
Haven't played dead space but doesn't look too well from pics...
Battlfield heroes sucks, as does 2142, last good game was bf2 but that was ages ago.
Spore is utter utter rubbish, creature gen is okay but the rest is ****... Big disappointment this...
Sims is for girls and gays :p. Sims 2 was rubbish when I tried it when it was out, imo the original Sims was ruined when the 4th exp. pack came out ( hot date I believe).
NFS had been utter rubbish since carbon.
LAst ''really good'' nfs was underground 2. Most wanted was good but worse than ug2. Carbon and the newest are just ****.

Not really, it's been a long time since I really enjoyed an EA game...


Other game makers have been far better recently, valve with orange box, 2k with bioshock, gta iv, civ4:col and civ4: bts, thq with coh and supcom, activision with cod4...

I was going to let them off after playing and enjoying deadspace but then they do somthing that reminds you how they hold paying customers in comtempt.
 
orange box was to do with EA aswell snowdog + you can add mass effect to ma list:)


As for the Need for speed yes NFS pro street was ***p but the new one coming out Need For Speed Undercover will be V cool as it is like NFS MW with cops:cool::D
