What % of the american population..

Guys, some of you are being so incredbily ignorant!! Please get a grip! you may have more age than me, but I hope I can instill some wisdom with my words. Ok, some people blew the twin towers up, claiming to do it for allah, a tragedy it was. but in this day and age if a German came up to you, would you automatically hide every Jew in site? If a chinese person came up to you, would you automatically hide all but one of your children? The fact is, those people who commit thos terrible crimes are NOT Muslim, they were, until they became brainwashed by some a-hole hiding in a trench in Afghanistan. So please think about that, and if you are in contact with anyone in America, convince them to vote for who they feel should be president, not based on skin colour.

Yeah I agree, end of the day its the medias fault to be honest. Some people are just easily brainwashed by what they see on the likes of Fox news for example.

I really hope for the sake of the world, Obama does not loose.

Mcain's an old man, if he dies, Palin is in power, I don't think that anybody outside the US would like that... *shudders*

That simply isn't true. There are far more white people in American than all the other ethnic groups combined, yet Obama still has a very good chance of winning the election. I think most Americans, although a little ill-informed, are capable of making a rational decision, whatever that might be.

I hope I'm not proved wrong.

And 10s of 1000s died during the Crusades, does that mean a Christian shouldn't be in power?

2000+ people died on 9/11 because of a group of religious fanatics with their own agenda, not because they were Muslim. Keep in mind I generally abhore organised religion in any form, that doesn't mean the better choice should be discounted because of his race, name or religious beliefs as these shoud be completely seperate from state.

Not to mention Obama is a Protestent Christian, not Muslim. :rolleyes:

What positive effect for the world do you see if Obama wins? What difference do you think it will make compared to McCain?

If you are going to comment on someone's English you should always ensure that your complaint is beyond reproach. Which is why I don't normally do it! However, you might want to look at how to use a comma and what a capital letter is!

If McCain wins, Palin is Vp. We don't have that problem if Obama is president.
 
probably about the same percentage of the uk population believe sherlock holmes was a real detective, or couldnt identify the netherlands on a map of europe...people are pig thick in general
 
Looks like it is easily swinging Obama's way right now. He is miles ahead in the Electoral votes which is a great thing - he also probably has a good lead in the public vote :)

Do you really think it would make a real difference? She would have a host of "advisors" that would probably be making the real decisions. However you are still dodging the question. What exactly in Obama's policies will make the world better?

he's going to pull the troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan, the whole point of Iraq was that Bush thought that there were WMDs but they didn't find any, yet the troops are still there to keep "stability"
