Poll: Are dark haired women best to marry?

Apparently when it comes to wives, 52% of men said that brunettes are the best type of woman to marry as they are more sensible and dependable than Blondes (source Metro)

From the same survey, some 49% said brunettes were the more loving and 53% saying they could rely on them than anyone else.

So what do you think? This isn’t a discussion if you prefer Blondes or Brunettes, but which hair type you see as more comforting to be your partner.



This is interesting as I’m married to a blonde and I do see the point. I would definitely see brunettes being as described above.

When you have reports that say 49% one side and 51% the other I would have said that it was pretty even don't you?

Not like its 80% etc.

I love blondes, the avg. blonde look hotter mostly than the avg. brunette imo...

Blondes>Brunettes>Black haired>Red haired >>>>>>>>>>>grey> Any artificial color ( what idiot has had the idea to make stuff like actual bright red paint, or green or purple ).
But it doesn't mean I don't like em, I just noticed blondes look a bit hotter on average .


But to marry? I don't know, I don't want to get married till at least 33/34... Don't even want to think of marrying now.

I'd like to answer, but I've not been married twice, or in fact once, so can't answer truthfully.

I've had mix experiences with girlfriends, but it sides more towards brunettes being more loving/caring...I think...it's not something I think about when with them though, or once they've departed, I just get on with it and find another.

I don't see either as being more comforting, in my view hair colour has nothing to do with the person, it's totally down to their mind.

Surely this survey is flawed. Who did they interview? Men who have been married to both a blonde, brunette and now with say a redhead?

Because if a man used to be married to a blonde, got divorced then married a brunette, he would say brunette, and vice versa.

If the survey is about man's perception, then maybe it's valid, but not factual.

I dunno if hair colour can make people feel more safe within relationships & so on, but blondes do come across a little bit more differently than the brunettes e.t.c
