Expecting a Bios Update

I just received my Q9550 C1 and am expecting I need to update the Bios.

I got a Asus P5K Deluxe and have never updated the bios (bought Aug 2007).

I was just wondering what is the best method to update the Bios on Asus boards?

Thanks

For god's sake don't use the Asus Windows bios flash software as you will more than likely end up with a dead board. Use EZ-Flash on boot up, Alt+F2 on my board, not sure about others.

What he says...under no circumstances do it in Windows, stick the bios onto a memory stick and go into EZ FLash :D
