ATi Far Cry 2 hotfix

Anyone else had problems in Warhead running these drivers? I got an "ATI has detected your videocard has failed to respond" pop-up box and did I want to send a diagnostic to them. Had never seen that before and maybe it was a coincidence that I got it just after installing the hotfix.
 
Discovered I'm getting crashing in both Warhead and Far Cry 2 with these on XP. Anyone else experiencing problems? What version should I drop back to, 8.10 or 8.9?
 
i had problems with crysis and crysis warhead and farcry2! with this i had to uninstall everything to do with ati graphics and install 8.9 then updated to 8.10 so far its been fine.
 
Given the current predicament concerning the hotfix and vista 64 using a 4870, what are the options/ best drivers to use (concerning the above setup)?
 
Did this fix your problem? I removed 8.10 hotfix one and went back to 8.9 and I'm still getting crashing. Did a full uninstall, reboot, install new drivers in case that made a difference but it didn't :(
 
well when people reported peroblems with 8.10 hotfix reverted back to simple 8.10 no problems at all 4aa 1680X1050 with everything maxed out no problems
