That so? I posted weeks and weeks ago that I thought it would be a good game as I couldn't see Activision releasing something terrible. After playing the beta/demo, I admit that I was wrong.

Heck, I even pre-ordered it as I was sure it was going to be good.

Another top quality game i could still play to this day.

And Medal of Honour Allied Assault.

Games have been about Graphics for a few years now and its a bad way to make a game.
 
yeah i understand what you saying thorpy lol :p but i can see this being better than cod 4 once they fix a few things.it is early yet give it a chance.

i played uo more than about anyone in the world lol :D uo was king and still is very good but it is hardly played now.

some of the guns do have a little recoil on at least unlike cod 4.

maps weve only played three out of the lot.


alll games are become "consoley" but thats just how its going to be .

me personally likes the game although a first i didnt i must admit.i have ranked up quite a bit already and i do like some of the add ons.




i must also admit though that i am more of a casual player now.


i say give it a few months to see what the games really like as judging it now before any patches is a bit unfair.

I'm finding it quite mediocre, I don't know if it's just the fact that the rounds are over to quickly, or that I don't really love any of the maps or whether it's just that it feels nothing more than a mod.

I just can't quite seem to get into it like CoD4, not that that doesn't have it's issues.

Same here, just about everyone blew their load over cod4 , when i played it i just felt "oh yeah another game nerfed for consoles". It had the same problems from cod1 in terms of a retarded spawn system for tdm gameplay. And the real killer imo was the regen health which was a console addition that they never bothered changing for pc.


WAW is more of the same really with graphics that are of the cod2 era.

"Server Authentication Error" every time I try and get on a server.

Lots of other people with this as well.

I cant even get logged in anymore, ust says "could not conect to online service".

Maybe theyve figured out noones buying their bs that this is an actual "beta" and are tossing some spanners into the works to enforce the beta shpeel.
 
Played the beta on Xbox a bit more tonight. Actually getting into it a lot more, to me it feels more atmospheric than COD4 (maybe because of the setting) which is def a good thing.

I think i will buy it, just not sure for which platform

Wish people still played it, it's definiately the most realistic FPS i've played and team tactics were fantastic. Great community too, but then came the Vegas franchise and ruined everything. Still u can find an RvS server or two to play in at any given time :)
 
things I like are the maps, effects, the whole feel of the game seems right. Having said that 'release the dogs' wtf is that? what a stupid idea.
 
anyone that whines about this game just needs to play with the mp44 on this game :D omg its awesomeeeeeeeee!!!!

also for those on about its just like a mod this was in making a yr before cod 4 !!

also try playing war then go play on cod 4 straight after. the graphics are miles ahead in waw.
