1 from holiday

why did you leave the t-shirt / towel or whatever it is in shot? seems a bit random

Thanks everyone :)

I would post a full size one but I do fear this is one of my pictures that are actually worth stealing (not to sound big headed) I cannot afford for that to happen I'm afraid. I'll do desktop size ones if people want though :)

Morba - the towel is there for a very specific reason. Underneith that towel is a ring to tie the boat to the dock, that day we were fly fishing and when you are fishing you stand just behind that ring (oo er) and with all the line being on the floor it quite often got tangled up and stopped your casting...so the towel was there to simply stop the line getting wrapped around it :)

gorgeous shot mate, jealous? of course not :p id kill to try out my camera with scenes like that!

hehehe :D - I can only imagine what kind of shots you could produce out here :) - would make mine look rubbish!!!

See you Friday, make sure a few brews are in the fridge eh ;)

Thanks everyone :)

cool, if its functional and for a reason then cool :D

excellent photo tbh mate :]

Cheers Morba :)

I'll take a look, tempted to get it done on a canvas for myself :D

EDIT: Once it's been tidied would anyone else like to know a price for a canvas? Cheers.

It's a nice shot but (and I hate to be negative when it's got so much praise) I actually find the boat very distracting beacuse it isn't a very photogenic boat IMO. I also find the uneven shades of blue in the sky a little distracting - looks like a polarizer was used but not able to cover the sky due to the wide angle?

Sorry buddy :(
Wasn't going to mention it after reading all the comments but they were my initial thoughts when I saw the image.

Mr Penguin...

its cool :) - Seriously I've been posting images for a long time now, C&C are all part of it, if the thread was 45322 pages long saying it was the best ever and someone didn't like it I'd like to know why :) - I'm glad you mentioned it!

For the record, no polarizer was used at all :) just the cover that goes on the end of the lens, dunno what its called, Tom will know what I mean lol.

The image is far from perfect, it does need tweaking, thank you for your thoughts :) It'll be reprocesed when I do all the others :)

I like the boat aspect of it :) Think it gives the picture some perspective and shows how relaxing it is.
I'd like to know the price for canvas but I'm probably closer to you whilst you're on your hols, than when you're home :D

lol. Thank god for couriers eh? :D

Ok dude no worries, when I've done a canvas for myself and I'm happy with it I'll email you a price :)

he could always submit it to an online lab in the usa :)

Indeed :)

When a friend of mine in Missouri wanted a print I just uploaded it to photobox and had it printed and shipped straight to her, cost about £4? was surprised actually.

And I'm aware Photobox isn't a US company :p
