Hi, weve made a chicken dinner, but decided to go out for a meal...as ya do... :p

So what we have done is:

1) Defrost chicken
2) Cook chicken

And we will then put it in the fridge or whatever and eat it tommorow - will this be ok?

Thanks guys :)

The point being made was that once it's been cooked you can do whatever with it.

Seriously though I know it's better to be safe than sorry but this is text book stuff. Sad thing is that it's not a new low for GD.

OP just remember either eat it cold or make sure you zap it through properly.

I think he's just been confused with reheating food, Its fine to reheat it after cooking but not after the first time of reheating it.

I always do it, Sunday roast with a whole chicken, eat some then reheat it the next day, or with a chicken from the supermarket, just reheat it the next day in the mircowave.

I've been told you shouldn't put it in the fridge warm. Let it cool, then refigerate, then eat within a couple of days

dude i do that on a daily basis. I cook my dinner on monday and distribute it across the week till sunday, reating the food everyday till the next Monday where i treat myself to a new meal. ps. i dont really do this.
