If your XP is retail, then the upgrade means when you change motherboards you will still be legal
If you get the OEM version, then as soon as you change the motherboard for any other reason than it has gone pop, you have broken the licence agreement if you re-install Vista using that key (i.e. it is tied to the motherboard)
Bear in mind AFAIK you can't upgrade your existing install of XP Pro to Home Premium. That being so, it might work out easier and cheaper to buy the physical disc?
right finally got round to doing it, very very quick to install and everything flies
I have backed up my email accounts/messages from outlook 2003 on my xp install.
- I open windows mail and try to import a file and always get an error saying the IMAPI/MAPI service isn't running. Is it possible to import all my messages this way?
- Also, what are some of the essential gadgets for the taskbar, as the default ones are boring
- How do i stop UAC from prompting me to turn it back on?
