Mario kart on the Wii, quick question

You don't need the wheel to play, it makes it easier, but it's still great fun using the controller without it...had many sessions on my mate's Wii with him using the wheel and me using a normal controller. :)
 
I have just been looking on that well known auction site and the wheels alone can be picked up for around a fiver inc delivery.
 
the wii remote plugs into the wheel, so if you both want to use wheels, you'll need 2 wii remotes

you can also use the classic controller, a wii remote and nunchuck as well as a gamecube controller
 
When I play Mario Kart, I normally use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk combination as I find it so much easier. The rest of my family play with just a Wii REmote held sideways without the wheel as it works just the same!

Another few questions people, can you play tennis single player on wii sports? Also whats the deal with setting up WIFI, ive set it up fine, but just want to know what its used for?
