Torrent programs always seem to slow the internet.

Odd, I've never had any problems with uTorrent myself - it's all in the settings.

I presume Vuze just defaults to settings that like your connection more.
 
Knightstalker, you're not alone with this. I've found the same issue over the past few days.

No settings have changed at my end (that I know of) but since I'm going for a full Vista re-install later this week anyway, I haven't worried about it too much.

I assumed it was just BT doing their usual interference :(
