Travelling for a month

buy a bus pass, get on the nearest bus route to your home , go round in circles for a month

SE Asia as it's easy & cheap.

Tibet, Nepal & Bhutan as few people have been.

Peru, Ecuador & the Galapagos as it's easy and expenssive.

Overland truck in Africa as it's amazing.

I'm going in February if that helps. I was thinking SE Asia.

Would anyone recommend trying to get on an official tour / trip which will take me around the cities and beaches etc. If so, any recommendations? Or is it better to just do it for yourself.

South America sounds good too. Anyone ever been to Chile?

Been reading about Angkor:

"Malaria is endemic in the areas around the temples, and has resistance to some medications."

I'll fly to Bangkok but I don't want to spend all my time there. Please recommend some easily accessible and varied locations. In a month, I'd think maybe 5 or 6 places, I don't like to rush, even that may be too many.

Has anyone been to Hua Hin?
