Grrrr!

So 360 and PS3 get a nice shiny Mirrors Edge Demo, but us PC gamers will have to cough up full price to see what the game is like!

And EA wonder why they are losing PC sales.

GIVE US DEMOS MAN!

[/rant]

PC version is delayed by quite a bit - therefore there will be a demo but it is delayed by quite a bit :p

lol :)

But meh anyhow - I wasn't that impressed by the PS3 demo; especially some of the character animation looked so off compared to the rest of the (nice) graphics, that it detracted from the game somewhat.

...and the hideous motion sickness that it induced. Blur-shaders ftl :/

Do we now? ;)

And EA wonder why people just download their games.

(I can do this all nite... :))

So is there any official word on a delayed date? The Channel Island Store still shows the same date as the PS3 and 360?

Delayed to work on a more evil DRM for us pc pirates.

Maybe the new evil one will take 3 days to be cracked lol. Doesn't seem worth it to me, it must take them weeks to make the evil DRM. Do you think they get sacked if its cracked in 48 hours or something?

I mean the DRM making trolls surely can't get paid if its cracked so quickly....

Oh man - this is one game that I have to play a demo of before committing to purchase. I think it looks fantastic and unique, but those game play videos have me worried about motion sickness.

DRM or whatever EA can come up with to stop pirates is just going to be more fun to them.

"new DRM"
Will be cracked twice as fast because its a new challenge.
EA should just accept the fact that games are going to be pirated, same as dvd's and music is downloaded, i don't see EA folding because Spore was pirated ...

I love the fact that EA assumes that all console gamers are saints and none of their console games are ever pirated...

Basically, IMO, coding for PC is harder, and they are looking for excuses not to.

Played the demo on the PS3 and 360 - just to compare and contrast. Prefer the 360 pad for this one funnily enough so gonna get it on that.

I had it running through my 40in LCD and did not get one bit of motion sickness though I do not tend to get it anyway. I figure if there is one game to do it, it would be this one.

Great demo - confirmed that I want this game. Considered that this game would play better with pad so gonna get it for consoles and play on my big tele, instead of waiting for the PC release.

I played it on the PS3. Enjoyed it but found it incredibly frustrating with a pad. I normally prefer FPSes on the PC anyway, but the parkour element made it even more important to have mouse + keyboard. The demo did at least confirm for me that the concept is fun, so with proper controls it should be excellent.
