A teenager from Glastonbury is the proud owner of what is thought to be the world's longest name.

He has changed it by deed poll to Captain Fantastic Faster than Superman Spiderman Batman Wolverine the Hulk and the Flash Combined.

He did it because he thought it was funny!

Well, I would have given the guy lulz if he was original, but the fact that he stole it from Family Guy....I'm tempted to call him a tit!

What do you think?

Loser tbh, if you're gonna do something like that at least be original. Makes it worse that he pretends he made up the concept.

He's probably a student who thinks hes amazingly funny for clearly ripping off someone else's idea.

Might get him some popularity if he is going to University ;)

To robogum: The one that is usually the little bit bigger, whichever that is :D

Oh Dear, wonder if his parents have disowned him.
Read something a while ago about people that had there names changed to computer game changes like Optimus Prime.
A couple got rejected for some reason

The teenager, from Glastonbury, Somerset, added that while he thought the new name was "crazy", his grandmother was no longer speaking to him.

!

Is the name itself (Captain Fantastic...blah blah) taken from Family Guy? If not I'd suggest you question the originality of Family Guy too as they aren't the first people to think of having a stupid name for the comedy value.

I'd also struggle to believe that he is anywhere close to having the longest name in the World, I'm almost certain I recall someone with well over 100 names from my childhood (possibly a truck driver although I'm not sure about that).

If you are going to change your name, it has to be to something manly. Like:

Jake Bullet

Rod Stealth

Chad Axe

Hank Widowmaker

And so on.

I was going to ask this too :)

Meh, he's young, he can change it back again when he needs to, let him have his fun.

One of Brighton and Hove Albion's old players is called...

Anthony Philip David Terry Frank Donald Stanley Gerry Gordon Stephen James Oatway

or 'Charlie'

His parents were QPR fans and named him after the 1973 first team squad.
