What do you think guys of this board compared with the asus p5q pro ?

Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R Intel P45 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard


thanks just not sure which one to get
 
Do any of you guys know if the bios is different in the p5q pro as i have the p5ne-sli and i dont like the bios when it comes to changing settings for overclocking.

All the bios are different. The one in my P5E is excellent and in a very logical order. I believe the P5Q series has a very good bios also from what i have read.
 
Yep the bios on my p5q deluxe is nice and easy to navigate, quite a nice board to work with.
 
Always had asus boards till my last upgrade when i switched to gigabyte and so far best motherboard i have had fast stable no problems installing isn't fussy about ram and had no trouble fitting my TT120 on it. Both are good brands but with the experience i have had with my DS5 i can't see me going back to asus anytime soon. Either board will do you fine so it comes down to which you personally prefer :).
 
Another vote for the P5Q range, very easy to fiddel and overclock, despite me being out of the loop and an AMD fan :p

The new Biostar is meant to be a good performer too.
 
It looks like i might go for p5q pro then its just the more posts i read the more confusing it gets i keep thinking asus then gigabyte then back again i think i should stop reading
