I haven't voted, what are you talking about?

I didn't know that I had to vote as well as post, how important is this poll
My apologies. There's another Rich L, except he's RichL not Rich_L.

Here's a thousand pounds compensation for injury to feelings :D

Im not sure i believe that over 5% of people who voted have over 1 Million in savings

Ah i get it, In assetts, I will need to change my amount then.

I've got quite a lot in savings. I am planning to plough virtually all of it into my mortgage at some stage. However, at the moment, I'm getting a higher interest rate on my savings than on my mortgage.

As a graduate, I put down the amount = savings - student loan. So small saving only. I imagine in many cases, there will be people in the red.

You'll never pay back your student loan unless you earn a *serious* amount (most of your contributions will barely pay the interest). Think of your student loan as an extra 1-2% on your income tax for your working life. :o

At this present moment I have about £1300 in an ISA which my parents go ballistic if I touch it even though im 22 (im presuming its going to be going onto the down payment of a house or something) and about £1200 in my bank which is mine to spend at free will, but im trying to build it up a bit for a new car next year.

Not bad for a uni student working part time on minimum wage :)

30 now, no debts expect for my student loan (old system and will never get paid off) and my monthly credit card which gets paid of every month, no pension yet, and still living the good life at home with my 25k+ job...

saving like a mad man at the moment as they thinking of closing down, selling or reinvesting our branch of operations at work (should have know by now but the organ grinder is on holiday so they will let us know just before Christmas - lucky us!!), so I'm managed to put away £500 pounds every 4 weeks for the last 3 paydays and looking to do so until they make me redundant or have enough (say 5k) to finally move out.

Should have made a poll for liquid assets.

Luckily my flat has not gone done in value yet but I have lost a lot of my savings in the crashing markets.

If you are looking at who has voted what, why not make the poll a public one and not a pretend-private poll?
