All copper TRUE review

Where can you get the cooler lol, tried finding one here in the Netherlands they only supply the black version... same for ebay :p

I wouldnt mind trying one if/when they become available in the uk, the weight is a bit of a consideration, but im sure it would be easy to knock up a bracket to support the weight of it. I currently use the black version with 2x sharkoon silent eagle 2000 rpm fans in push/pull and have been really impressed with it.

I am happy to test one if someone sends me one :)

Motherboard shouldnt be an issue will be a cable tie jobby with the weight of the fans anyways

Edit:
Will mail the engineer guy I have talked to before at Thermalright see if it has a higher heatload than the normal TRUE

Look forward to hearing his views on this:)

It doesn't appear to have a higher heatload, look at the small fft test, very very similar result. Of course some people are happy to pay for 2C better cooling but meh, isn't it twice the cost, twice the weight and not recommended for upright case usage.

It seems a stupid cost, risk for a miniscule improvement. Considering the cost, which is massive apparently, (if its around double you're looking at £80 or more due to copper costs of late) you're half way to a very decent watercooling loop.

Probabaly more than half way if you're only thinking about cooling the CPU. However many people still simply aren't comftable with water anywhere near their PC!

Considering how many of these were said to be made i doubt they'll have problems shifting them.

Id be one of those people:o seen some great results with water cooled systems, but id be a bit wary of the risks (however slight they may be) in setting it up.

hehe looks great but the weight is just to much, can see it causing some damage to someones mobo.

bungee cords to hold it steady id say lol or put a plate behind the mobo so you can screw it to the chassis

I have the IFX-14 which is an absolute monster takes up like half my case, wish I'd gotten a TRUE Black now.

I like that idea esk. My IFX-14 has a rear bracket that goes behind the motherboard and spring loaded screws hold the heatsink down on it, be easy to spring load a cooler onto the cpu via the case

So whats the difference between the black and standard version then, is the black made out of different material or something?
