Driving a Lambo?

Some of them are good some of them are rubbish.. Depends on instructor and more importantly the company you go with.

Akaik you will get a few laps in a lesser car then go round in the lambo.. It's likely you won't really get to push yourself or the car but It can be fun regardless!

P.S the link doesn't work...

Firstly, your only looking at about 4 laps (so says in description) so all depends on how 'big' the track is. It also says it lasts for about 1 hour.

So seems pretty much over and done with as soon as you start it.

Any suggestions on what company to with then? If you think this is all nonsense what would you recommend i spend £100 on my dad based around a driving experience?

I personally think these sort of things are a total waste of money and most people I know who have done one have come away feeling hard done by. The 4 laps will be over inside a few minutes, you wont get any proper time or feeling for the car and you won't be allowed to really enjoy it for fear of it getting damaged.

Buy him a couple of lap dances ;)

I don't have any experience with that particular company but the "driversdreamdays" one I went on was a bit underwhelming really. The TVR Tuscan was a wicked car but the quality of the policing cough I mean tuition was pretty poor, didn't get many laps and the circuit basically comprised of tarmac and cones rather than being a proper track.

My track experiences in my little MX5 at Nurburgring and Cadwell Park were far superior to driving the TVR Tuscan at Bruntingthorpe? I think it was.

I just felt my GF had been conned out of quite a lot of money for nothing very good in return. I think if the tuition had been better and it had been a proper track then I would have had a much better experience.

I was consistently shouted at by the sargent major type instructor for late braking (he must have been a real wuss), changing gear late (rubbish I wasn't even redlining it) etc etc.. This was really annoying as I might as well have driven my grans 20 year old honda civic round if I wanted to improve my "driving miss daisy" skills.

yep 50 minutes of the 60 are spent queing for your turn in the car. I'm sorry if I sound negative but I found my session with driverdreamdays a total rip off. Perhaps other companies are better.
