On the case Mike, I have a friend who is an electrician and I have been pointed towards a number of different companies that specialise in the solutions I seek. One of the bathrooms is easy to sort one is more challenging. I have small LCD's in the bedrooms which adjoin the bathrooms (all en-suite) already, but its not ideal or that safe dragging them to the door each time you have a bath. Our correspondent above may see it as money down the drain or 'look at me' but I need something to slot in alongside the Rice Cooker and Coffee machine or else the bathrooms will look bare with just Bath, Shower, Sink, Toilet and Mixing Deck![]()

What size screen are you after? It would (maybe) a lot easier going for a smaller one as they often run from a low voltage with an external power brick. This way you only have to run a 12v power feed which is safer than running a 240v one.
Many 19" LCD's run from 12v, meaning you could even run it from a 12v battery. This maybe a good temporary solution, but you'd still need to run a cable from your tuner/dvd player (unless you've got a battery powered DVD player). I use quite a similar system for having an in bathroom hi-fi:

(excuse the towel and t-shirt)

The silver box is a small amp that runs from 12v, the black thing on top the speaker is a battery pack made from a hacked up battery pack, and I use my mobile phone as an MP3 player. I admit it doesn't look pretty but I've used it for well over a year with no problems (touch wood) - plus as it's low voltage even if it gets thrown in the bath nothing dramatic will happen.

The only thing is my hifi uses around 10W of power while a 19" LCD would use around 50W, meaning running from batteries you'd only be able to watch an episode of top gear, but wouldn't last long enough for Titanic.
