Steam: Is this a wind up?

its not possible to have the same account playing online on more than 1 comp....if u log in from elsewhere then it logs the first account out.
same as punkbuster.

I once had a guy on my MSN claiming that he needed my username and password because she (was pretending to be a girl) had accidentally deleted some vital files from her hotmail and needed to copy them back from my account. Once I had pointed out I wasn't an idiot and this was actually a load of testes, he admitted to be a bored guy working nights preying on the stupid for fun. He said it was amazing how many people fell for it.

Though @ Showdog, yeah, I was referring to the forum being a bit of a 'family' one. Considering swearing is often starred out, it just seems a little overboard for here.

Not that I'm making a huge deal out of it or trying to start an argument.

I have starred out all the swearies though, oh well okay I'll remove it but afaik I said nothing that isn't allowed on the forum...

Just my general point is, a randomer on steam has no way of finding out where you live, as a result if he tries to shaft you by trying to nick your games, you can say anything to make him angry without any real consequence...
 
I often wonder about the secooriteh on Steam, every so often I get a forgotten password e-mail come through which I havent requested
