Getting harder to decide between console and pc these days

has there been any big games out for the PC? Maybe i just have console-tunnel vision or smt but absolutely tons of big games coming out for consoles but for PC folks freak over.....World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King and thats about it.

Nearly all the fall console games are also on PC...

Crysis Warhead, Spore, Red Alert 3, Wrath of the Lich King, Warhammer Online to name a few exclusives.

That's a big reason I switched over to console gaming, the community on the PC just went, well , MEH, after WoW came out and everyone jumped from other games to play that 24/7. That's only in the groups of people I gamed with however, I don't expect the whole of the internet to have done that.

Another console convert here. For me it's a simple as this:

Kicking back on sofa with a couple of beers infront of a 50" screen and 5.1 AV system > Hunching over a desk infront of a 22" monitor.

Having said that, PC is the only way to play RTS games.

The trouble with console games now, are features like assisted aiming that developers include to make them more accessable, and this removes the element of skill that should be forefront to multiplayer gaming. There is also a distinct lack of dedicated server hosting, so players can end up with an advantage from being the host.

And as good as the 360 controller may be, nothing can match the sheer speed and control of a mouse.

People say that as if you can't do that with a PC.

Never got the hunched back comment either, when I sit in my chair I'm sat back and comfy.

Also, headphones (with a Xonar or X-Fi) provide more immersion than a 5.1 setup, unless you're able to have that 5.1 up loud at night too.

I just meant for me personally. I'm fully aware that it's possible to do with a PC, infact I do just that when I play Crysis/Crysis Warhead. But for my setup, it's still considerably less hastle to simply throw a game into the 360 and play it instead of messing about connecting the PC up and changing resolution for the TV etc.

Got you.

Fortunately my PC is about 5 feet away from my screen and 5.1. :)
