I'm used to high end ATCS cases but need something cheap, cheerful, able to put modern gfx cards in and looks reasonable. Anyone have any opinions on the 300? Thanks.

If you do a quick search in this section for antec 300 you will find a review i did with pictures if that helps.

good case for the money :)

cant go wrong with it really, just make sure you get some decent fans for the front if you want temps as low as they can be.

What's cable management on the 300 like? My current Antec Titan has no space behind the mobo for cable management, is the 300 any better? I'm considering upgrading.

cable management is good imo. Takes a little work but you can get it to look good.

imo the cable management can be abit of a pain, but abit of work and you can make a decent job of it. you would need to cut a hole in the mobo tray to be able to route behind it. however you can do a good enough job without cutting it up really.

id say there was enough to do a decent route, but i havnt tried it myself so cant say for certian. it does look like a lot of room tho.

I've not tried to route behind my tray, but I've seen it done, albeit a bit of a struggle ;)

Depending what you've got cable management can be done relatively well. I've managed to get mine done to acceptable levels with a fan controller included without too much trouble.

Great case, extremely happy with mine.

I don't suppose anyone has any pictures of the cable routing behind the mobo tray?

Or a link to any thread where someone has it done? The main issue I have with the Titan is that it has maybe 1cm clearance behind the tray, anymore then that and the back panel is bulging out badly. With molex connectors from the fan controller cables going behind there along with a PATA cable or two and USB connectors to the front panel you quickly run out of space.

I really want a case where I can keep it very neat despite the fan controller cables and the two PCI-E cables.

just had one delivered this morning, not put anything into it yet but from the looks it's a farly nice case and the pictures online don't really show what it's like IMO. looks a lot better infront of you than in a picture

great case, should be fine for most graphics cards. cable mangement will be fine if you get a modular psu.

little tip, you can put hard drives in this case even easier by taken out a fan cage and slotting it in that way and then simply putting the fan cage back on. useful when i had to take me a hdd out with making a mess (by that i mean banging my graphics card/psu and cables.

by two decent 120mm fans ( i recommend sharkoons) and jobs a good'un

there is almost no difference between this case and the antec 900 theres a few cm involved but very few like 2-5 in height and ofcourse the side panel this is not doubt the best case for the money and if modded can be a overall great case for size and quality:)
