Little Big Planet tanked?

I think the release was messed up (different shops got it different dates becaUse of the reprint). Week ending 25th I am surprised it sold any as most shops sold it following week in USA. I don't think it will be top, but it will definitely sell many more copies the following weeks chart.

LBP doesn't have guns.
NPD is monthly. I am fairly sure USA retail outlets only got this on weekend of 25th-26th so unsure if it will even be that high in Oct NPD (NPD is mainly retail stores to my recollection). Maybe Novembers which will be out in Late December?

This is a game that will be in the charts for months, selling at a healthy rate.
Nope that is actually before it was released. LBP wasnt actually on sale until the 27th October, this number is the number sold before the recall by naughty shops (like the one i got mine from) that broke the release date.

It's high up in the top 10, I wouldn't say that's a bad thing?
Couldn't care less frankly. It's honestly the best game i've played in a very long time and i personally haven't had a shortage of people to join online. As many have stated the release hasn't exactly been smooth so early figures are nothing to go by, by any means.
[EDIT] Looking at the charts, as many have said, the date chosen for the chart is the original release date, as i'm sure we all know the game was pushed back in many territories due to 'questionable' content.

I would agree, except vgchartz is such an unreliable website. (where do they get the weekly USA sales figures from, for example?).
164k seems a lot to be sold by accident. Most sold early would have been mail order places, and a lot of these sales figures (worldwide) exclude some pretty large online retailers.
