Now, last I checked hedge fund traders were the ellite so is it me or is this a little odd for them to be looking for someone who is pretty much fresh as a ducky?

Yuck, the website is horrible (I mean that in more ways than one). It's also properly dubious as in the weird "scam" banner at the top. That aside, yes it is the world's worst advertisement, akin to some eBay efforts.

If that's the case, then my eBay comparison's stand. The link provided was awful.

Newly formed Atlanta based hedge fund is seeking a prospective Equities (Stock), Currencies and Commodities Traders and Analysts. Ideal candidates should be a(?) self starters(?) and quick learners(?).

That's a horrible advert for somebody to deal with hedge funds.
