Crap driving school names

Some people are rather impatient while you're learning to drive. Just because I'm literally 2 seconds slower to get moving than you from a traffic light, doesn't mean you have to beep your horn at me :/

I very much agree, I've been learning to drive recently on an intensive course, and while most people seemed fairly patient, some seem to get quite annoyed just because I was having trouble spotting gaps at roundabouts, beeping their horn at me.

Fortunately I passed my test on Friday. :)

you'll do the same when you pass, trust me. my area is terrible for this. All the idiots learning to drive strugle to hit 20, when they've reached that speed the look of sheer terror on their face is hilarious. I had a good instructor, he'd have a right go at me if i was going too slow! luckily my main problem was going too fast so at least i didnt annoy anyone :p

Had to laugh at myself the other day when i overtook a learner driver doing 15-20 in a 30
all to get her behind me at the lights seconds later :D Was a good decision though as she stalled it and i saw a rather large traffic-less gap behind me until i turned off 3 miles or so later, so she prolly did'nt get it moving before it went red again :)

There's one near me called "Pole Position". It's actually a Polish driving instructor, specialising in teaching Poles who come in but can't speak English very well.

Theres one near me called Focus, and they teach in a focus :p

Tbh I understand people who overtake a learner who is doing stupidly low speeds, like 15 in a 30, or 40 in an NSL zone. However, what really annoys me is when people see it as acceptable to overtake a learner who is doing the speed limit. No excuse other than to try and intimidate the learner and show off.

Not always the case - it'll depend on what kind of driving situations will be up ahead. What may seem like a pointless overtake at the time could be one that makes a lot of sense at the busy roundabout or crowded junction 600 yards down the road :)

My old driving instructor decided to start up on his own and called his company FOCUS. The problem is he also uses a MK2 Focus to teach his pupils in. Hes put a big vinyl sticker of the side of the car saying FOCUS in big letters but at a quick glance it just looks like a riced up boy racer mobile.

in stoke theres one called "bat out of L". not sure where a rock song fits in.
@ what fox said.. the yellow pages is getting little daft now, with most companies putting several A's before their name to get to the front. my dads studio starts with a P but is on the first page of photographers because of this.
