AMD Fusion For Gaming Ultility Beta2 64-Bit support

Do the you wreckon it'll be worth me installing on a 6000X2, X1950XTX, 2GB ram @ 1280x1024?

Doubt it tbh, i would imagine your graphics card is the bottle neck in that system, i can only see this having a significant impact for people running things like crysis on a single core CPU with a 8800 series card or the like.

Yep your correct, I tested COD4 and RA3 and there was no difference in the FPS. I used fraps to record the average, and then walked around crossfire and creek with and without fusion running (ran it under expert) and there was no difference. This was also the same with RA3.

A plus is that under expert it dropped my ram usage by 350-400MB under Vista.

I think you may be missing the point of the software.

By the sound of it, Average Joe wanting to play Supreme Commander with an old Athlon 64 X2 3800+ on a reasonably old and clogged up machine will see an enormous performance increase.

Whereas Mr. OcUK with his overclocked Phenom and regularly defragged and formatted machine will probably not see much, if any, difference.

I was not missing the point as that is the point i was making. ;)

If it lowers RAM usage in vista it could help running two instances of EVE for example... I'm yet to try this. :p
