hi all can someone please tell me how i change pci latency settings as i cant find the option in the bios anywhere?

also i have disabled the onboard sound in the bios but in device manager the high def audio device is listed aswell as my Asus Xonar DX?

Hi,

Dont really know about the 1st one but the 2nd one is because you have 4870 it has built in sound.

I have Xonar DX and also have 2 High Def devices listed because of my 2 4850's.

hi thanks for clearing that up for me i have noticed with my DX that if i have the volume on full say in the asus control panel some songs dip fade in voulme when i adjust volume to 50% all is ok have you had this problem? be interested to know
