This current diesel is king climate may have claimed another victim.

My dad is looking at straight swapping his 2002 911 C2 Cab for a 2006 56 BMW 330d M sport saloon. He said he has had it for sale private for 23k for 2 months with not one phone call.

Sad sad times. :(

Also someone has hit my bumper and its a mess, needs re-spraying. This is a bad weekend.

I don't see it as sad times at all, its making powerfull cars like your dads more affordable! :D

My Focus 2.0 Zetec 3 door has been for sale for 2 months without a sniff of interest. Seems no one is buying them or is put off by the new tax costs.

Crikey, that seems cheap for a 911 of that age, but I guess that's just what they go for at the moment. You can get 01-02 coupes for under £20K, which is plain ridiculous.

Why is it a sad time, people have been living beyond there means for years and its showing in car prices, prices just dont drop because living expenses go up.

Why is he selling it?

Costing a lot to run as he only does town mileage so its a bit of a waste paying for a car that he is not getting the best out of. Also fed up with the massive depreciation.

As opposed to the other reason people buy supercars, to do the 40,000 annual commute miles?

He has THE PERFECT scenario to own a 911, bugger all milage, and living near some cracking roads.

Nutter TBH.
