ive had a good few games today with some of you guys, unfortunately im encountering a lot of disconnects, get in and alls fine for 10-15 secs then dumped out saying conn timed out grrrrrrrrrrrrr

i'm thinking of getting this, but my pc specs are min, prob too low for decent mp.
is the sp mode in the game worth getting as i doubt if my pc can handle the mp side without a struggle.

SP is always harder on the PC than MP. Instead of players, you have your computer sweating balls trying to do a reasonable AI routine for your teammates.

the demo is freely available from the 11th incase you were unaware, although sometimes Valve/Steam releases for the UK sometimes a day later than our US counterparts..

I'd be surprised if you managed to not like it, but yeah, may as well go the 'free try' route first (I mean demo, not piracy).
